Detailed Camera Strap Covers

These were found on http://sheyb.bigcartel.com/.

I'm pretty sure I could make one myself!

This rosette one she calls "The Couture."  It's my favorite.  It's the one I want to try and make!

This is another style I like, that looks like it wouldn't be too hard:

Boy Cut Swimsuit Bottoms Patterns

I want to try making some before I go spending $50 to have someone else custom make them.  So, here are the websites and patterns I've found so far:

Red boy shorts in picture:

Instructions on how to make biking shorts, which can be made with swim suit fabric, so I think they'd work?

Vintage boy shorts

Boy shorts, although I'm not sure if they have the seam straight down the middle or not, kinda looks like it in some pictures.  (Which I am trying to avoid...)

These pictured patterns specify whether they have a boy short alternative

Single vintage pattern size 12, but I think it'd work for me:

The McCall's 9352 patterns near the bottom look like the bandeau bottoms might be boy cut?  Or might work...

Fairy Tutus (or Pettiskirts...)

This is kinda trendy right now, and I think it's so cute, especially on babies.  It seems like they should be fairly easy to make... I've never examined one in person, but I could make it up, right?

(And I love the flower headband in this one...)

(Oh, and I think this little girl is seriously the cutest girl I've ever seen, I hope our kids are as cute as her!)

And this one was found on another website.  It's made out of something else that's not tulle, it looks like.  It may have been called a pettiskirt instead...  Super cute with the black shirt and headband.  Love it!

Baby Texture Blanket

I thought I already posted about this, but I can't find it.  So here it is:

It's a baby blanket I helped make for Jenny & Baylie with Dot, Brea, and Jaime.

It had various textures mixed together on one side for helping babies learn?  Or something like that.  Super cute idea.

Wall Decor/ Hangings

Cute and easy idea, made with fabric and wood, found today on MakeItAndLoveIt.  Instructions and tutorial found here: http://makeitandloveit.blogspot.com/2010/02/decorate-my-home-part-9-wall-hangings.html

Earring Holders

Jess told me about these earring holders, made with chicken wire.  She told me she's seen them with a cool old wood frame, with the chicken wire strung behind.

I found this example on a google search:
I think this is really cool idea, but I like the idea of using an old-fashioned frame like Jess described better, something like these:

Old gold plated:
Or old barn wood:

As I got looking, I also found these cool wooden western style ones, which of course I love and are perfect for me:

I also found this one, that is made with an old shutter, which is cool, but I think I like the chicken wire idea better:

Flower and Bow Clip Holders

Way cute bow holder that Brittany Staley made, as found on http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=39658115.  It'd be way cute for all the flower clips I'm hoping to collect for either me and/or my little girls.

Crocheted Hat

Amy found this hat on Etsy, it's called "Park Avenue" by ButterflyLinx.

I also found this one one KnitandCrochetNow.com:

There is a free crochet pattern for it on that website

I also found this fat crocheted headband on Etsy I think, and sent it to Amy to see if she thought it'd be hard to make.  I really like the color and flower, and unique design of the headband, though I think the band is a little too wide:

Also, lionbrand.com has a bunch of free patterns, some of which I have saved.  I  have a  bunch of headbands and various flowers saved there.

Chunky Necklaces

I really like the chunky necklaces that Torrie and Toni were wearing at the Women's Retreat.  I think Torrie got hers from the Christmas present exchange at the Cousin Party.

Both of theirs have mostly clear and silver beads and charms, but I couldn't find a picture of either one that I thought looked the same.
Some of these I do like, or aspects of them, if I were to make my own.

DSLR Strap

I would like to make a cute strap like one of these for our new T1i.  I don't know how Jeff would feel about a "cutesy" strap, but I think he'll let me.  :)

MakeItandLoveIt has a tutorial for making a strap at: http://makeitandloveit.blogspot.com/2009/05/scrappy-camera-strap.html

Also, this Etsy shop, Made by Meegz, at: http://www.etsy.com/shop/madebymeegz?section_id=6433060&order=price_asc&page=2
has these straps for sale that I like for $25:

Recycled glass/dish counter tops & tables

Recycled glass concrete counter tops
Broken glass or old colorful dishes inlaid in concrete, and then sealed
