Vintage Apron

Rachel made a post today about vintage aprons from the 40's, and though I don't really wear aprons, I appreciate anything vintage and actually kinda like the idea of this apron:

Super Cute Strainers

We saw these strainers at Smith and Edwards in Ogden yesterday.  I love both the big green ones, and the little teal ones!  I almost bought one of the little teal ones too, but it was $10, and we don't NEED it.  Granted, that probably isn't that bad of a price, but Jeff kept me in check money-wise, since I'm having my ACL surgery this Friday and we might be prego and we want to buy a house... you know how it goes.  Anyway, I had to save the pictures because they're so stinkin cute!  And would make way cute decorations too!

Recycled glass/dish counter tops & tables

Recycled glass concrete counter tops
Broken glass or old colorful dishes inlaid in concrete, and then sealed

I love it! For a basement counter top or bathroom, i don't know if I'd want it in my main kitchen or not, but i love the look.

kitchen conveniences

these drawers are in ree drummond's kitchen, and i thought that was the greatest idea ever! as long as you have room for that many extra drawers...

i thought this was kinda cool as well, if you have a big counter, so it can be out of the way yet accessible:

it just seems like you might have to refill them more often which would be annoying...

and i just thought this would be nice, since ours just end up sitting on a shelf or stove... they don't really have a home:
