Homemade Lemonade!

I haven't tried this recipe before, but Nick Cutler's sister-in-law made lemonade with these 4 ingredients (citric acid, water, sugar, and lemon extract) and it was SO good!

2 tablespoons citric acid (you can find this at most pharmacies or natural food stores)
5 quarts water
2 cups sugar
2 tablespoons pure lemon extract

Optional:
3 sliced lemons
3 sliced limes
Crushed ice

In a large pitcher or punch bowl, stir water, sugar, citric acid, and lemon extract together. Add sliced fruit and ice for decoration/ to help chill.

*Note: if you have leftover punch, remove the sliced limes and lemons before refrigerating. The limes and lemons will give the punch an overly sour acidic taste if the punch is stored overnight that way.
